I love blogging, today I want to write about my be well process. Over the last couple of months I've been staying with family and I realize how far I've come, and not without a notable amount of effort. I don't know if you've ever experienced the phenomena of being around family, or a group of people you haven't spent a decent amount of time with in a long time and as you stand next to them it suddenly feels like you've stepped into the version of yourself you were "back then". I'm not sure the science of it, whether it is because mentally I'm picking up where we "left off" or is they are projecting the memories of how we were onto me, but it is an odd and interesting feeling. Spending time with mom and grandma is bound to take you all the way back lol. So I wanted to write, mostly for myself and any moms or daughters who may
benefit, about the tool belt that can basically get me in and out of every mental blocker or wall I may ever put up for myself. Make no mistake, my mother and grandmother are wonderful ladies and will charm your pants off if you ever meet them lol, but, growing up I dealt with morbid obesity, depression, anxiety, shyness, confidence issues etc. Wow, that sounds like a mess when I list them all together lol, but really and from the bottom of my heart, I think most girls and women deal with most or all of these things at some point in their youth especially if they ever struggle with their weight. So

So.. here is my foolproof tool belt for mentally conquering your wellness and achieving optimum wellness and productivity.
1) When I feel out of control I take control of my routine and plan ahead. Planning ahead can be simple as meal prepping, agreeing to drink water as soon as you open your eyes or committing to walking the dog 3 times a day. It's more about feeling the confidence of being in control and knowing what's coming than the actual plans.

2) Commit to drinking a glass of water before bed and set a full glass of water beside your bed to basically chug when you open your eyes. This has amazing mental and physical benefits your body is made of water (which is why our moods can shift at times with the tide and pull of the moon-tangent) anyways, 75% – muscles, 90% – brain, 22% – bone and 83% of our blood is water. When you start and end your day flushing toxins out of your body and putting clean water in it you will be cultivating positive thoughts about your health is the first and most important step to actually feeling well.

Funny story about the first time I drank Vodka. I drank enough to feel I had proved myself as a young woman, lol and I was walking around drunk but fine...until someone told me I looked sick, then suddenly I could feel it, and there I went...laied out on the lawn (luckily the boys we were "impressing" were gone and my best friend held my hair)
Health can be this way to. The first line of defense in your immune system is believing you're well and then doing these little things to reinforce the fact everyday until you're bulletproof. lol or something close to it and water is the best place to start because it eliminates toxins, gives you a little metabolism boost, helps curb your hunger, and keeps you feeling fuller longer.

Throughout the day putting a little lemon in your water will refresh you and is a diuretic. Lastly but not least I guarantee (as much as I love Younique anti-wrinkle cream) no lotions or face serums will give you the anti-wrinkle results that drinking the proper amount of water will. Still checkout my shop though :) https://www.youniqueproducts.com/CleePayne/products/landing #defendinnocence I can tell on myself and my close friends if anyone is dehydrated in an instant. I think it's my age either I have forehead wrinkles or I don't. Big Difference. It also helps you maintain tone and elasticity long term. It protects your vital organs, takes care of your lymphatic system, combats constipation, and promotes healthy BMs. Drinking enough water can regulate the acidicy and resulting gases in your stomach. 3) Meditate before you leave your sleeping space. I would say I am a semi-pro

meditator in my mind and a novice to a real hardcore meditation guru. It is an actual muscle that is developed in the brain to meditate purely and allow whatever thoughts rise to your mind without allowing your mind to run into the stress of the day or what's left over from yesterday. I personally enjoy a 15-20 minute guided meditation to help me clear some space in my brain for the good feeling to come in. Here are a couple https://youtu.be/MWP6a-xOECI -trying this out tomorrow

If you need a deeper before bed meditation go to YouTube and type in Tibetan Singing Bowl Meditation-so deeply relaxing.
4) Music to set the mood. The more you fill the space around you with things that lift

you up the less room there is for any negativity to find its way in. Important especially in the morning. Even if you have crisis all around you, you want to respond to it the way your happiest, most prepared self would right? Because, you're likely to get the best results and the least resistance. Music is so powerful that physiologically and neurologically it is processed throughout your entire brain and according to the gate control theory of pain, can reduce the pain you feel by 50% much less anxiety, fear. http://www.bostonmagazine.com/health/blog/2013/05/15/music-therapy/ says "They’re going to be able to heal in a more constructive way.” On top of that, Hanser says music therapy can be pivotal to soothing anxiety and depression. “We can manipulate the auditory environment, which affects [patients’] imagery, which affects their memories, which affects the associations, which affects the mood,” Hanser says. “All these things can be changed in a single moment and over time with music. It’s a continuous mechanism.” . Movie makers use music to make you feel something imagine you wake-up to your life movie's soundtrack and set your day that way.
5) Have your tea or coffee & something to eat, I like something small to remind myself food is just fuel and I'm revving my metabolism before I get the chance to get hungry. I

prefer a cup of green tea (3 cups a day can reduce your chance of cancer by up to 50% so sneak as many in as you can) and an organic grapefruit or apple, maybe some almond butter Once Again brand is mindbogglingly delicious.
6) Tidying whatever it is you need to tidy to feel as if you could meet the President today and have nothing to hide.. because you never know when life can throw you some amazing opportunities and there's nothing worse than walking into a situation and having your mind dart right to the thing you hope they don't notice isn't 100% where you want it to be, the dishes, that wrinkle in the back of your skirt or whatever.

7) Do a quick downward dog or even better a sun salutation, as your head is down, blood filling it, fill your head with positive thoughts of yourself, remind yourself you love yourself, are worthy of love, and have something special about you that no one else has (blog on that later) I'm always a long winded one :) also think of your family near and far and cultivate positive feelings of being loved and loving them, think of the relationship in it's whole value, not about the disagreement you had last night. Here is my fav sun video no fluff very straight forward 8 minutes https://youtu.be/73sjOu0g58M . Ideally a 30-45 minute workout would do wonders! but stretch at least. When you're ready to start seeing physical results try a yoga class or no equipment daily Blogilates calendar at http://www.blogilates.com/blog/2014/12/30/new-beginners-calendar-2-0-for-2015/ .
8) Personally to get to my happiest I would take a walk with my dog after this kiss him, maybe say a quick prayer, and be on my way. Pets are so good for wellness and the unconditional love they give priceless.
As I go I try to picture myself achieving the greatest version of my goals and list the things I need to do to get there as I am literally getting to where I'm going. This sounds like a lot it will definitely yield good return on the sleep you miss out on from waking up an hour to 90 minutes earlier to do this.
Most importantly BREATHE. love yourself.everything you do today should be in the interest of taking care of yourself and being well.Life is too short.
